Frozen Lie

Ice enveloped my heart
Knowing it was a lie
The liar smiled
Knowing the lie to be sown
The new wearer
Of the lie
Froze like their heart
How long this
frozen moment
would last?
Truth though
The frozen recipient
Of the lie
They knew truth
What better an
Instrument to
Smash the Ice
Leaving the lie
Exposed
And so too the liar
In a metaphorical stock
For all to see
The recipient of the
Lie
Was now free
And the liar
Caught in their own trap
A bit of an
Own goal
These lies
Tsk Tsk.
