There is a swan lurking in that pond.

OK. So here we go again…I am going to wing this post, pardon the pun.

Swan and lurking do not go together. I chose that title for impact. Was it to get you to read this far. You might stop reading now.

I am currently planning 5 books. One is a quadrilogy with a prequel based on a time I was in hospital. Well, a secure psychiatric unit to be exact. The only time in my life I have been hospitalised. A unnecessary and total waste of time in my case. Then I would say that wouldn’t I? The hospitals might have changed since I was "in" back in 2004, however, I have never been put into a more dangerous and unsafe environment in my life. There were drug addicts and alcoholics who were being separated from their substances, and then there were sensitive and venerable adults under section for their own safety. Safety from what. It was much safer outside you could run away from the abuse out there.

Incidentally Bipolar people are quite adaptable and can take on different roles to suite certain situations which is how I survived my 3 months inside.

Anyway. I need to write the publishing software first then I can publish my books in a fashion more suitable for my demeanour. Probably a couple of years away at this rate.

I also need to write certain other software to fund my living also.

Furthermore, Bipolar disorder is a normal these days and becoming more normal by the second. So get real about taking this sort of person seriously especially if they have taken time in their life to obtain qualifications beyond which you might have attained. And I am not referring to the letters after my name, although they count also.

The world is in need of a healing. Not only nature is crying out for this, but, the people of the world are. Bipolar disorder is not an accident, it is an evolutionary step. It should be recognised by employers and employees with this disorder given proper positions of responsibility. They need to be given and supplied with information which shall be appropriate for their position, like any other employee. Certain protections and a route through HR of talking through possible political situations within the office need to be provided so that their condition does not isolate them.

I think I shall let you in on a little secret. This Bipolar person, if not all those with this diagnosis are able to see situations occurring before they arise. We are not prophets, although some of us may believe they are, we are just more intelligent than we look, and perhaps less assessable for intelligence with the current recognised tests.

Give us a reason, and we shall show you what we can do. No reason, no show. Simples. I should add here that you give us time by explaining the reason we shall give you time in providing a solution.

We are all social animals and Bipolar people have few differences here except we are a little bit more serious about life and living as we do not take it for granted.

I just thought I would post this for all those nice people who think that the "mentally" ill should all be locked up and hidden away.

Whilst a lot of this post has been as if I have communicated for others. I have not discussed this with other Bipolar people.
