The Pub We Went to on Tuesday
We came to drink,
Or, I came to drink,
I came to detoxify my mind,
To tell a story,
To relate a yarn,
Darn it was good to get something of my chest,
Trawlerboys a pint at 4.6%,
Twas a great yarn spinned,
As if we had just come in from sea,
Tales of fishing,
Although, these days truly spelt phishing,
More appropriate,
Especially if you work in I.T.
