Fair Farm Mate
All’s fair in the love of farming,
The result be food for the table,
If you farm fair not,
Beware the Bot of correctness,
If you farm fair you have nought to fear,
4 what is it that you do wrong?
Nought I say for fortune favours the fair,
In life it be true the same,
Fair dinkum Ozzies say,
Means Fair go,
Unfair may go hang itself for that is wrong,
Who makes fair rules?
At the end of the day who is to judge the wrong or the right?
I observe, as poet, that God and science may do that,
Is that in fact fair?
Probably as far as our world is concerned,
What is higher in law than God or Science?
One is not made and just is,
T’other is made,
Which carries more weight?
The made or just is?
That remains to be seen,
Only time can tell…
