Cousin River
In life consider
The broads
Connecting people
Let alone Towns
And villages
What about the
Wherryman
Way beyond the
Past gone
Too fast
Although slow
Compared to interstellar
Travel gently River
The way parts
To, and from the Locks
And in between
Make what you
Will
Happen it right
Beware low tide
Less you get sucked by
Mud, Thud your head
On a beam remembering
Ha Ha the night of
Revelry before
The River has friends
As if
It is alive
It is alive
Believe in the tributaries
Seemingly meandering
Relentlessly
Making a Valley
Happy.

I made this for John Durrant. We hope to present it in June in a presentation.
